TECHNICAL EXPERT - TAILINGS MANAGEMENT

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Tailings Management Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing innovative strategies to reduce the environmental impact of tailings while optimizing tailings management processes. He/she will work closely with operational teams to ensure effective tailings management throughout the mine site life cycle.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in tailings management, with a thorough knowledge of current environmental regulations. A demonstrated ability to develop and implement management initiatives is essential. Strong communication, leadership and project management skills are also required for this position.

Go-Mine is a Quebec-based engineering consulting firm founded in 2019 by mining engineer Catherine Lajoie Filion. Since its founding, Go-Mine has worked primarily for Canadian mining companies to improve their performance in sustainable mining development. More specifically, Go-Mine specializes in environmental management (tailings, water, climate change, biodiversity) as well as social responsibility mandates (health and safety, community relations, crisis and emergency management). It is also certified to conduct audits for the Mining Association of Canada's TSM - Towards Sustainable Mining initiative.
